How Your Plum Journal™ Works
Your Plum Journal™ works just like a real book. The arrows across the bottom make the pages turn.
To Type in your Plum Journal™: Click on the Pencil button below the journal. The text box will magically appear and you can start writing at the beginning of the box.
NOTE: When you have typed to the bottom of the page, the text does not roll over to the next page. You need to click on the SAVE button to turn to the next page.
To Add Photos your Plum Journal™: At the end of the journal is space for 11 photos. Just follow the steps on the image holder and add your photos. Photos are changeable until you lock the page (Page Lock button). You must lock the photos before emailing the journal.
To Email your Plum Journal™: Click on the Email button and follow the directions. Please note, once emailed, the journal is not editable and becomes a read-only format. Although your spy-ware may give you an alert, rest assured that this program is safe and virus-free. Also, if you have photos included, be sure to click on the Page Lock button on those pages. This holds the photos in place as your journal speeds through cyberspace.
To Copy your Plum Journal™ to a CD: Depending on your computer settings, saving your Plum Journal is like saving any document. You can save to the desktop or a flash drive.
To Print your Plum Journal™: Click on the Print button – but remember, it would be nice to save a tree.
When you have Completed your Plum Journal™: Turn to the last page and click on the 3 plums and follow the final directions. You will not be able to make more entries or changes into the journal after this
permanent save.Helpful Hints:
Because our pages do not roll text over into the next page, we suggest for those of you who like to edit or add more text later, that you leave a blank space or skip a page. Then, if you wish to add more at a later date, you will have plenty of room.More questions? Check out our Questions page.
