The idea for Plum Journals came about at a workshop about journaling. It was agreed that many of us believed in the concept of journaling and saw its value in our lives. We even had beautiful journals waiting for our thoughts. But while some of us felt at home with the traditional book and pen, many of us admitted we were more at home with our keyboard.
But a Word doc felt so lifeless and the journals that were available needed internet access. What if we wanted to make an entry when we had a moment, regardless of our internet connection? So the project began to create beautiful journals with the look of a book, pages that turn, that could live in a flash drive or a netbook as well as a computer, etc etc etc.
We believe Plum Journals has addressed these wants. Our journals are designed to feel like a special place for your thoughts, your dreams, your memories. We also love that we are saving a few trees in the process.
If you are like us and your computer is usually open and ready for thoughts, we hope you will try a Plum Journal that feels great to you.
Happy Journaling,
Karen Mead, Creator of Plum Journals
THANKS TO:
We could easily fill a Plum Journals™ “I Am Grateful” journal with our gratitude for those who have supported us during this project, but we especially want to acknowledge five people:
Jenna DeAngeles, for her amazing creative and design work;
Dr. Dody Tyneway, who planted the seed by saying, “I could sit at my computer all night”; |
Andrew and Scott from eBooks Developers Association, who guided us though the maze of technology and found a path for us;
And most of all, to Alex from Desktop Author, who is so patient with Karen’s many, many phone calls that always start with, “Alex, I just have a little question…..”Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Karen
